Made in Jabalpur, India, in 2014, these black-and-white drawings emerged during a period of intense and expansive creative activity, alongside painting, writing and photography. They move between observation and psychological expression, shaped by the street, memory, dreams and the physical atmosphere of the place. Tonal, pictorial and often dreamlike, the drawings reflect a moment when the boundaries between photography, painting and drawing began to dissolve.
